Masala Corn is a very popular snack served in the streets and malls of India. It is a favorite snack for kids and adults. This recipe is super easy and can be prepared in minutes. I buy the fresh and tender corn cobs and remove the sweet kernels for making this recipe.
Masala Corn Recipe| Spicy Corn Chat Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Cube Butter
- 2 Cups Fresh Corn(Kernel)
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
- 2 Chopped Green Chillies
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Crushed Black Pepper
- 1 Tsp Chaat Masala
- 1 Tsp Mixed Herbs(Dried)
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
Instructions
- To a pan on medium-high heat, add butter and fresh corn(kernel).
- Saute for 3-4 minutes until they turn aromatic.
- Switch off and add chopped onion, chopped Green Chillies, salt, red Chilli powder, crushed Black Pepper, chaat Masala, mixed herbs(Dried), lime Juice, and chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix well and garnish with some more chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes
- When you buy the corn cobs, you can either boil or steam the corn cobs and then remove the kernels.
- If the corn cobs are very tender and fresh, remove the kernels and follow the above recipe.
