Almond Chutney

Almond Chutney tastes very much like Coconut Chutney. Substituting almonds for coconut is one of the healthier ways to reduce the bad cholesterol in our daily menu. Almond Chutney
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Sliced/Whole Almonds [Soaked]
- 3 Tbsp Roasted Chana Dal
- 1 Tbsp Sliced Ginger
- 4 Small Green Chillies
- Few Lemon Peels
- 1 Tbsp Mint
- 1 Tbsp Coriander leaves
- 1 Tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 3/4 Cup Water
Instructions
- In a mixture jar, add soaked sliced/whole almonds, roasted chana dal, sliced ginger, green chillies, lemon peels, mint, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, salt, and water.
- Blend to smooth paste, add water as required.
- Almond chutney is ready to be served. Serve it with idli, dosa, vada, pongal, upma, etc.
